I know I’ve been slacking off with posting so I have a nice long one for you today!
This past weekend was the Seafair festival here in Seattle but since we don’t own a boat we had to make our own fun celebration.
Friday night started out with an amazing dinner out to celebrate our friend Brandon’s birthday. We went to a little French place that had fabulous food and cocktails. I wore my well loved red maxi skirt with a simple white tank and added lots of gold bling to jazz it up.
Skirt – Halogen (similar here and here, both great deals), Tank – H&M, Shoes – Vince Camuto (similar), Necklace – Pookie & Sebastian
On Saturday I hosted a Seafair brunch on our condo’s rooftop terrace and it was a blast.
I spent the morning making a bunch of delicious quiches and bacon, and then Michael grilled us up some delicious chicken sausage. My friend’s Sam and Julie also brought along some delicious Paleo breakfast treats, Chocolate Zucchini Bread and Blueberry Coffee Cake.
We of course had to have a Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar…
In honor of the nautical theme, I wore my sailboat shorts, an anchor necklace, and red espadrilles. Here are all the girls with a nice photo bomb from Danny!
Saturday night the guys headed to the Sounder’s game so a few of us girls went to watch the classic Seattle flick “Singles” in the park nearby, so much fun, although it got a little cold! Thankfully I had changed into my cute printed Loft ankle jeans that I absolutely love the fit on and they are so comfy. On sale now!
Sunday Michael and I recovered from the previous 2 days by lounging by the water at Madison park and enjoying a lazy day. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend too!
